Luke is a large, very handsome male out of our field trial female, "Ready." Luke only ran two derbies and received a first and second place. Luke also ran one qualifying stake which he won. As a three year old, Luke has placed in both the open and amateur. FC Luke received his FC title as a four year old. FC Luke is currently in training with Danny Farmer at Vinwood Kennels.

Breeding Fees and Requirements

Luke is available as stud. Luke is standing at Vinwood Kennels. Call Danny Farmer at (936)870-7373 to arrange for pickup/boarding. We recommend driving in. If the female is flown in there is a pickup fee and a daily cost for boarding in addition to the stud fee, which will be paid to Vinwood Kennels. Payment of stud fee will occur when you send the litter registration to Caprock Labs. Breeding Requirements : Copy of AKC Registration Certificate, Copy of CERF Certification, Copy of OFA Certification, Negative Brucellosis test prior to breeding, Current vaccinations prior to breeding.

Caprock Labs will make every effort to breed Luke to all approved bitches. We will attempt two ties for every breeding. In order to ensure maximum litter size we recommend using an ovulation timing test available through your veterinarian. The Progesterone blood test is the most accurate predictor of ovulation. If you are planning on using frozen semen for your breeding, you may consider doing some research on which vets are having the best results. Caprock Labs work with ICSB-TX, located in Sachese, Texas. ICSB-TX can be contacted at (972) 442-4441. They have a list of vets that they recommend using. Please do not wait until the last minute to contact us, as preparation takes time. ICSB-TX will also need time to set this up and will charge extra for rush service if they do not have a few days notice.
