FC Logan is a very handsome and muscular Labrador retriever who has a true "blocky" look. His sire is FC-AFC-CNAFC Aces High III, who was one of the all time great field trial dogs, and his dam, Kenline's Super Scooter, is the dam of six field champions and sister to five field champions. Logan is a full brother to FC Utopian Wild Card Clyde. Logan possesses outstanding marking ability and has an excellent temperament both at home and in the field. His accomplishments include 1999 National Derby List with 15 points, 5 qualifying stakes with 3 wins and one second place, FC at four years and completed seven series in the 2001 National Open Championship.

Breeding Fees and Requirements

Logan is available as stud. Logan is standing at Caprock Labs in Lubbock, Texas. Call Lee Smithwick at(806)747-1745 to arrange pickup/boarding. We recommend driving in. Payment of stud fee will occur when you send the litter registration to Caprock Labs. Breeding Requirements : Copy of AKC Registration Certificate, Copy of CERF Certification, Copy of OFA Certification, Negative Brucellosis test prior to breeding, Current vaccinations prior to breeding. Whelping fees: Stud Fee (Caprock Labs) of $900.00. If you have a small litter of less than 3 pups the fee is $150.00 per pup. Frozen Semen Breeding fees: Advance fees (non-refundable, due prior to release of semen) : Semen Fee of $100.00. Estimated shipping and handling cost of $150.00. Tank Rental fee of $30.00 (7 day rental). Frozen Semen Whelping fees: Stud fee of $600.00, small litter fee of $150.00 per pup if less than 3 pups.

Breeding Info
Caprock Labs will make every effort to breed Logan to all approved bitches. We will attempt two ties for every breeding. In order to ensure maximum litter size we recommend using an ovulation timing test available through your veterinarian. The Progesterone blood test is the most accurate predictor of ovulation. If you are planning on using frozen semen for your breeding, you may consider doing some research on which vets are having the best results. Caprock Labs work with ICSB-TX, located in Sachese, Texas. ICSB-TX can be contacted at (972) 442-4441. They have a list of vets that they recommend using. Please do not wait until the last minute to contact us, as preparation takes time. ICSB-TX will also need time to set this up and will charge extra for rush service if they do not have a few days notice.
